Hey Girl Hey! We are in the first full week of school, and I made a pact with myself that I would do better this year by not rushing in the mornings and getting Nova to school on time.
Well, that’s exactly what we have been doing and Nova says, “Mom I love our calm drives to school.” I guess that’s her way of telling me thanks for not driving like a maniac!! LOL 😂
One of the things that have been helping with that, is my Capsule Wardrobe Section in my closet! Note I said a Section! LOL I love the minimalist way of dressing, but I do need a little bit more variety, so instead of having my entire wardrobe be a capsule, I just have a small section in my closet dedicated to that. 💋
Here is how you can create a small Section in our closet dedicated to a capsule wardrobe, so you can look cute yet comfortable and have loads of outfit options that you can grab when you’re on the go in the mornings trying to get your kiddos to school.
👉🏽Watch my Reel and Follow these simple instructions:
𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟭: Clear out a section in your closet that is easy to get to. You definitely want it to be grab and go!
𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟮: Items that are great to have are Solid Neutral T-shirts, Graphic T’s, White Washed ripped jeans, leggings, and definitely a cardigan and some baseball hats. For Shoes, you want a variety of options and I love a leopard print tennis shoe, and you can’t go wrong with plain white sneakers.

𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟯: Now you’re ready to fill up your new capsule wardrobe section, by grouping your items by solids, graphics, and jeans. I like to store my leggings by using the book fold folding method and putting them in my cubbing system. I also do my hats here as well.
𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗽 𝟰: And now the only thing this momma has to do is get my sweet pea off to school, run those errands and get back home to my desk.
You probably already have some of these pieces in our closet! Is this something you plan to give a try?
