CONFESSION: I love to cook, but not when I feel like I’m rushed to put dinner on the table! I mean it really takes the joy out of the whole process for me, and it can be exhausting. š« That is why I am always on the prowl for dinner ideas that are easy and quick but still filling.
I finally purchased a charcuterie board from Walmart’sĀ @homeandgarden dish collections and needed an idea to use it for dinner, so Subway Sandwiches it was! It literally took me 15 minutes to prep and dinner was served. I usedĀ @boarshead_official grab-and-go sliced meats, (a lifesaver) and I addedĀ @realhomechefĀ heat and serve new Potato soup with bacon which literally tasted like I had a pot of soup on the stove all dayš (another lifesaver for this meal).
Is it just me or am I the only one who puts pressure on myself š¤¦š½to come up with creative weeknight dinners? Although I wouldn’t consider a soup and Sandwich night on the list of creative meal ideas, it actually turned out good! Nova and Victor loved it, and I was like, “Okay Ashley!!”… LOL This was definitely one of my lazy night meals, that I can say I’m proud of! Other ideas I’ve had didn’t go so well! Like the time I try to spruce up some ramen noodles!! LOL
We’ve all done it! What has been your lazy weeknight meal idea that actually turned out to be bomb? Do Tell in the commentsšš½ so we can try it!
